House Rules

  • Members and guests may not display or exchange business or personal papers in the public areas of the Clubhouse.  Date books, papers, laptops, cell phones and all electronic devices are also prohibited.  Private meeting rooms may be reserved within which such papers may be displayed or exchanged. Published materials such as books, magazines and newspapers are welcome in the Reading Room and Grill Room.
  • Dress Code
The Hope Club recognizes that keeping up with the trends of dress code in today's business world is a constantly evolving process.  In that vein, the Board of Governors has adopted a business casual attire policy throughout the Clubhouse.  Formal business attire (jacket and tie for men) is always appropriate in the Club, and preferred in the Formal Dining Room.
Unacceptable Attire: Faded, torn or worn jeans, sweatshirts, athletic shoes and casual sandals (such as beach sandals), nor is any apparel with slogans or commercial slogans.
  • Cell Phones and Electronic Devices
Passive use of cell phones and electronic devices shall be permitted throughout the Clubhouse.  Should you need to speak on your device, it is necessary to do so in our phone booths, backgammon room, private meeting rooms or in overnight guest rooms.
